Onto the life hacks.
Life Hack for your bathroom is to use lemons as a natural cleaner. The citric acid found in lemons naturally kills germs, shines silver, and smells great!
Life Hack Steripods! Steripods are these little cases you put on your tooth brush. They release vapors that keep it fresh, and protect against bacteria in your bathroom. Its also great for traveling!
Life Hack Cleanser Bombs! Add a cup of baking soda and half a cup of cream of tar tar. Mix with a few table spoons of water. Scrunch into balls and let sit for 24 hours. You can drop these into your sinks, showers, toilets, etc. to freshen them up easily.
Life Hack DIY air freshener. Add baking soda into a mason jar with essential oil. Shake to give an extra scent into a room.
Life Hack Cookie jar storage! These are great for excessive amounts of products you may have such as lip gloss or nail polish. They are only 5 dollars at target!
Life Hack Hot tool hooks! Use command hooks as directed, place in the inside of your cabinet and wrap your straightener/curlers onto them!
Alright, those are my diy organization tips for cleaning my room! Do it yourself, and you with have a clean bathroom with a ton of storage. Cleaning your bathroom sucks, thats why you need to know these life hacks!

Wardrobe tour + organization: KonMari method | Minimalist wardrobe

Published by:

In this video I am showing you how I organized my wardrobe using the KonMari method, trying to pursue even more my journey towards minimalism and simple living.
I was already working with a downsized wardrobe, but I was still able to purge some items during the process! All the items I have are things I truly love and wear all year round (except for very seasonal clothes like winter coat or boots).
KonMari organization tips:
+02:56 : Hang all the clothes that look “happier” on hangers
+03:16 : Hang your clothes so they “rise” to the right
+05:57 : Store bags inside of other bags
+06:51 : Don’t buy storage solutions before organizing your things, try to use what you already have
+08:11 : Store things vertically

How To Organize Your Home Part 1: The Entryway

Join us for a tour of our home’s entry area as we share how it is organized and why I organized it this way. This organization system is very easy for even the young children to use and is a lot less frustrating than other kinds of closet or entryway organizing because it’s a nice looking system that the kids will actually use.

It is functional, with a designated place for each person’s items and I was also able to decorate it in a way that is cozy and feels good.

Each family member has a designated set of decorative hooks to hang coats, scarves, mittens, purses and backpacks, there is a designated spot for each person’s shoes and even a basket for items that are waiting to be returned to the store or delivered to someone.

Join us for this brief tour and then share your great organizing ideas in the comments below!

Here are some of the main points in this video:

0:57 When we moved into this house, we had this little tiny closet for 6 people to store shoes, coats and everything. There was no way that as going to work and I had to come up with another storage system for coats and shoes.

1:41 How we organize our coats

2:06 Showing and talking about our coat system

2:13 I attached 2 boards this way – boards that i got for free – and I attached these cute decorative hooks from Hobby Lobby.

2:52 Everybody knows where his or her stuff goes.

2:59 Decorated with pictures from when we were all 6 months old

3:25 Storing shoes – Neatly placed on mats in case the shoes are dirty

3:55 How I re-created a decorative letter when I needed another one

:06 I added a shorter section for our youngest son, who was 4 years old at the time and it worked out perfectly because he couldn’t quite reach the original hook height.

5:59 I love old windows. My neighbor was moving and gave me a free mirror that looks like an old window, which looks great here!

6:20 A lovely gardening picture that was a gift from my aunt.

6:39 Funny sayings and encouragement for everyone to see just before they leave home.

7:20 My basket for things that need to be returned to the store or are waiting to be returned or delivered to people

7:49 That’s how we organize our entryway. Comment below and share your tips and ideas about how you organize your entryway!

No matter how many clothes you have, sometimes you just can’t find anything that matches, or you’ve completely lost track of your favorite outfit. In reality we only use 20% of what is in our closet. I sign under that statement and noticed that most of my clothes just gang there unworn.

I can’t deny it. I decided to use a season change as a perfect excuse to edit and simplify my own closed using simple rules that have been working for me perfectly.

Here they are:

Keep only current weather season clothes in your main closet.

Choose Karen Rhodes skinny velvet hangers and save enormous amount of space.

Organize your closet by the Category: bottoms, tops, dresses, and evening. Separate delicates with fragile beading and embroidery protecting them in clear plastic or garment bag.

Organize all your categories by color. Start with: white, creams, beige, peach, pink, red, fuchsia, purple, light gray, darker gray, light blue, darker blue, navy blue, brown, and black.

Rule 5

Put away what you don’t need with space saver boxes. Reisenthel collapsable boxes are not only beautiful, but very practical. Light weight and very functional for any closet’s shelves. They come in different sizes and are perfect to store your gloves, hats, socks, tights, undergarments, scarfs, and anything else you can have easy access to. If you want to get really neat you can get additional dividing velvet compartments interiors at Container store that will keep your colors, and categories in order.

I also love to put delicious sents and travel size air purifiers that are available at Frontgate to keep everything fresh and to prevent musty smells in clothing.

I like to open my closet each time and make a dressing experience very special!!
